The knob is much lower than the factory knob and is weighted for a smoother engagement, making it an excellent addition to any short shift kit. The alcantara/ alloy mix gives a racy, grippy feel without the cold/hot nature of a solid alloy knob. The best feature of this knob is it pops into place in less than a minute just as a factory knob should - no generic set screws!
Available with either standard 5-speed or 6-speed gate indicator (first gear forward and left - not available in E30 M3 close ratio pattern). Alcantara will wear with heavy use or oily hands.
