The E9X series (E90 sedan, E91 wagon, E92 coupe, E93 convertible) continued BMW's tradition of evolutionary design for the 3-Series. This generation saw increased globalization of BMW's lineup, with U.S. models more closely matching their European counterparts in terms of available engines and features. The E92 M3, powered by a high-revving V8, was virtually identical in both markets, marking a significant milestone for American BMW enthusiasts who had long envied European-spec models.
Overview
The E9X-generation M3 represents the only time BMW M paired its legendary M3 chassis with a naturally aspirated V8. At its heart is the 4.0-liter S65 V8, producing 414 horsepower and revving to an intoxicating 8,400 rpm. Combined with balanced rear-wheel-drive dynamics, hydraulic steering, and one of the most engaging chassis BMW has ever produced, the E92 M3 has earned its place as one of the defining performance cars of the modern era.
Finished in Silverstone II Metallic over Black Novillo Leather, this 2012 BMW M3 Coupe has covered just 53,222 original miles from new. Produced on January 13, 2012, this example is equipped with the desirable 6-speed manual transmission, Adaptive M Suspension (EDC), M Drive, Comfort Access, heated power-adjustable seats with memory, Navigation Professional, Individual Audio System, adaptive Xenon headlights, carbon structure leather trim, and anthracite headliner. Factory records confirm no retrofit equipment has been added.
Accompanying documentation reflects a well-preserved ownership history. The CARFAX reports no accidents or damage, 18 documented service records, and ownership split among just three owners from new. Originally delivered in New Jersey, the car remained there through its first two owners before relocating to Texas with its third owner in 2024. Notably, the vehicle was sold as a BMW Certified Pre-Owned example in 2015 and has benefited from consistent maintenance throughout its life.

History
BMW production records confirm this M3 Coupe was completed on January 13, 2012, finished in Silverstone II Metallic (A29) over Black Novillo Leather (NCSW). Factory equipment includes the sought-after 6-speed manual transmission, Adaptive M Suspension, M Drive, Comfort Access, Navigation Professional, Individual Audio System, heated power-adjustable sport seats with memory, adaptive Xenon headlights, carbon structure leather trim, anthracite headliner, and power glass moonroof. BMW AIR records confirm the car retains its original factory configuration with no documented retrofits.
The CARFAX documents a clean ownership history with no accidents or damage reported and consistent servicing throughout its life. Originally delivered as a personal lease in New Jersey, the car accumulated just over 19,000 miles before being sold as a BMW Certified Pre-Owned vehicle in June 2015. Its second owner retained the car for nearly nine years before it transitioned to its third owner in Texas, where it continued to receive routine maintenance while adding very few miles. Service history includes regular oil services, brake fluid flushes, alignments, inspections, and other routine maintenance consistent with long-term enthusiast ownership.
