EAG Impressions
The E36 represented a dramatic leap forward for the 3-Series, with its more aerodynamic design and sophisticated multilink rear suspension. While European customers enjoyed a full range of engine options from frugal four-cylinders to potent inline-sixes, U.S. buyers initially only received six-cylinder models. The disparity was most noticeable with the M3. European M3s boasted a sophisticated 3.0L (later 3.2L) inline-6, while U.S. models made do with a less powerful 3.0L engine derived from the 325i. This difference in specification would remain a point of contention among American BMW enthusiasts for years to come.
Overview

New Arrival EAG Heritage E36 in Artic Silver over Black with only 25k miles!
We owe so much the E36 M3 platform and how it created and curated the love for BMW ///M. It was the perfect introduction to the US market no matter how many throttle bodies it toted, as it eased all of us to take a glimpse of what it meant when the beloved Roundel was accompanied by the letter "M". The suspension was more planted, the brakes more aggressive, and power was bumped but to a manageable point. It exuded balance and was the reason it frequented magazine covers.
With the popularity, endless modification options, and ease of everyday use it increasingly becomes rare to find a low-mileage, stock, and cared for example. This is one of those rare finds. The exterior shows incredibly well along with its interior that does not suffer from all of the typical E36 nuances. The S52 is strong and provides the wave of torque associated with this 3.2 liter made for US roads.
Experience why the E36 M3 is so beloved and how it was the springboard for many enthusiasts as if it was 1998 again.
History
We had the pleasure of first knowing this vehicle back in 2015 where we reset the service baseline before it went to a good friend and collector of pristine M cars. These services included a full fluid and filter change, proactive water pump and thermostat, front control arm bushings with an alignment, upgraded rear trailing arm bushings also taking advantage of the alignment, and upgraded rear shock mounts. In 2017 it returned for maintenance services and now in 2025 it's receiving a full EAG inspection and all required services will be completed so this arrives to its next owner ready to be enjoyed at any capacity.
