EAG Impressions
The latest generation of M3 and M4 models (G80 M3 sedan, G82 M4 coupe) represents BMW M's most globally consistent product to date. Both European and U.S. markets receive identical powertrains, including the base 473 hp version and the 503 hp Competition models. For the first time, the M3 and M4 are also available with all-wheel drive, a feature offered consistently across all markets. While the controversial front grille design has sparked debate among enthusiasts worldwide, the performance and specifications of these models are uniformly impressive, regardless of the market in which they're sold.
Overview

The M4 CSL represents the most focused and performance-driven iteration of BMW’s current-generation M platform. Designed as a modern interpretation of the legendary CSL lineage, the 2023 M4 CSL was engineered with one objective: reduce weight, sharpen response, and deliver the fastest production M4 ever built. With increased power, revised suspension tuning, extensive carbon fiber construction, and reduced sound insulation, the CSL stands at the top of the BMW M hierarchy.
This 2023 BMW M4 CSL is finished in Alpine White and shows just 2,044 miles. The exterior features CSL-exclusive design elements including the exposed carbon fiber hood insert, aggressive front aero, lightweight trunk lid, and distinctive red-accented kidney grille. The car rides on staggered lightweight forged wheels wrapped in Michelin performance tires, contributing to both reduced unsprung mass and exceptional grip.
Inside, the cabin reflects the CSL’s purposeful mission. The fixed carbon fiber bucket seats anchor the driver in place, trimmed in black Merino leather with red contrast accents. Weight-saving measures are evident throughout, including reduced sound insulation and simplified rear accommodations, while still retaining modern BMW performance technology and driver interfaces. The result is a cockpit that feels both special and uncompromising.
Power comes from a revised version of BMW M’s twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six, producing 543 horsepower, making this the most powerful production M4 to date. The chassis benefits from model-specific suspension calibration, increased negative camber, and recalibrated electronic systems designed to extract maximum performance. The result is a car that feels sharper, lighter, and more immediate than the standard M4 Competition.
Originally delivered in Texas, this CSL has had two owners and remains in exceptional condition consistent with its low mileage. It presents as a properly preserved example of one of BMW M’s most limited and performance-oriented modern offerings.
In preparation for presentation and sale, this M4 CSL will receive Enthusiast Auto Group’s standard intake evaluation and preservation process, a detailed multi-point inspection, verification of fluids, systems, and components, and light recommissioning consistent with EAG’s delivery standards for investment-grade vehicles. All work will be carried out to maintain the car’s originality and ensure mechanical integrity for its next caretaker.
History
Produced in limited numbers and positioned as the pinnacle of the G82 platform, the M4 CSL carries forward the legacy established by the E9 CSL and E46 CSL before it. This Alpine White example, with just 2,044 miles and Texas provenance, represents an opportunity to acquire a near-new flagship M car in properly preserved condition, a car that blends modern engineering with the focused ethos that defines the CSL badge.
