This 2008 BMW M5 is finished in Black Sapphire Metallic Over Black Extended Merino Leather and has been under the care of a single owner from new. Showing just 31,874 miles at the time of cataloging, this car has been well-kept and equipped with a coveted 6-speed manual gearbox. Although BMW claimed a 0-60 mph time of 4.7 seconds, Car and Driver were able to make the run in 4.2 seconds, with 100 mph coming up in just 9.4, and BMW’s electronically limited 155 mph top end was actually more like 190 mph when the limiter was removed. This car is one of the few produced by BMW with a true 6-speed manual gearbox. Originally, BMW never intended to put a manual in this car, instead making the SMG III the only transmission available. However, after much complaining from American enthusiasts, they decided to offer a 3-pedal variant only in the US. This really enhances the driving experience while also making the car easier to own.
