We placed this special car with the 2013 ST Class IMSA Racing Champion to enjoyed as a fun weekend collectable car. Fun Fact: the previous owner claimed the 2013 championship at Lime Rock Park in Connecticut, hence his strong connection with this special edition model which celebrates BMWs relationship with this hallowed race circuit.
EAG then placed this LRPE with a longtime client and friend on 6/2021 @ 6,642 miles when the car was still in stock form. The condition of this #1 condition E92 M3 is impeccable! The exterior is all original paint that has an awesome finish with no significant flaws or imperfections. Tons of Xpel Clear Bra Paint Protection Film (PPF) has been applied to the following areas: Front Bumper, Full Hood + Fenders, Mirror Caps, A-Pillars, Roof, Side Skirts and Rear Quarter Panels. The interior is like new with supple leather that still has the original matte finish, clean carpets and no visible wear areas. It has resided in a climate controlled garage since new, therefore, never seen inclement weather conditions. This vehicle has always received proper care and vigilance! Flawless body and undercarriage with no issues or complaints!
Properly cared-for since new with the 1,200 mile break-in service complete and 4 low-mileage engine oil services performed. Lime Rock Park in Lakeville, CT is the third oldest continuously operating race track in the United States. Nestled at the foot of the Berkshire Mountains, it is well known for its lush green surroundings and compact layout giving spectators an outstanding view of all the action. In 2013, as BMW’s E90 series M3 was nearing the end of production, BMW produced 200 special cars to honor the famed track. All 200 were painted the same, outrageous Fire Orange paint- a color not available on other M3s, and were fitted with a host of unique options.
Although the Lime Rock Park Edition was built as a track-focused M3, BMW made sure not to get rid of the luxury features that make these cars the ultimate do-anything sports car. Black Novillo leather covers the seats, door cards, and center console, and the Premium Package fits the car with convenience features like Comfort Access, Navigation and Park Distance Control. That being said, there are a few unique bits featured in the Lime Rock’s interior- an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel with a blue band at 12 o’clock and in the center console, a placard denoting this as “One of 200” with a track map of the famed track the car draws its name from.
The Lime Rock Park Edition will forever be a special car in BMW history- standing as one of the few special edition M cars aimed at North American enthusiasts and based on what many consider to be the pinnacle of the M3 lineage. With only 200 in the world, you will be hard-pressed to find a better preserved example than this car.
